13th September, 2023 : 10:00 am – 11:30 am
This introductory session will explain the current English planning system and outline how the proposed reforms to the system are expected to be implemented. It will take a high-level scan across the critical issues for local authorities, with plenty of time for Q&A.
The webinar is essential for any councillor who is keen to get a better understanding of the English planning system or what the proposed planning reforms are likely to mean in practice. And while the session will be geared towards elected councillors, it is open, and should be of interest, to anyone who is keen to get a better understanding of the planning system โ developers, consultants, business leaders, council officers, community groups, architects, designers and students.
