TCPA writes to MHCLG over NPPF concerns

The TCPA and Flood Re have written to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government regarding our concerns that the current review of the National Planning Policy Framework is a missed opportunity to reset the UK’s approach to planning for the climate crisis. The evidence for strengthening planning policy is overwhelming but the proposed changes makes no changes to the approach for flood risk beyond some minor technical clarifications.

A copy of the letter, including the full list of our requests of government, can be downloaded here.
